Simplot Western Canadian Pond Hockey Championship!

The Can-Oat North Stars defended their title from 2008 in the Fourth Annual Simplot Western Canadian Pond Hockey Championship played at Portage Industrial Exhibition Fairgrounds on Sunday.  The North Stars again defeated McCain Foods Ltd. in the title game.  Those involved in the first place trophy presentation are, left to right, co-organizer Brent Budz, Richard Henderson, Billy Kent, Karl Gerrand, Simplot Plant Manager Chris Tomkins, Wes Zacharias and Travis Foster.
